Nevermind. I'm going to use what has been supplied even the isolator switch.

How did you get the 13xp in mate.
I emailed runva and they said that it wouldn't fit and I can see why, I've got no room and I had to trim the a/c fan a little.

Hmmmm. What bar you got ??
I have a ARB deluxe bar and I can literally fit a second 13XP in.

Bar not so much the issue. The cradle is.
Getting the Raslarr bar fitted soon so we'll see how that goes.

All finished and put back together.

I don't know how I'm going to go with the new bar. I had to mount the control box on top of the bar, where the old one was over the rope but a fair bit forward. Anyway time will tell.

You can get a little creative with it. The cables are a good length to the controller on the runva out of the box. I have mounted them behind grills and even in the engine bay. You should only have to plug into it if the remote doesn't work.

    Yeah I was thinking about.
Probably not behind the grill, no room there, but like how the solenoid was mounted on the old one. Above and forward. Heaps of room and protected by the bar. I'll wait till the new bars on and see what options I have. Don't really want/like it on top of the bar.

Now onto another issue that's been pissing me off for a while.

    The lean.

Is it possible that one spring has lost tension sometimes. I measured it today and got a 20 mm difference, but sometimes it looks level. I will also measure when it looks right.

Forgot to mention that before I took out the old winch I gave it another shot and the bloody thing worked. I run all the rope out and back in and out again.....

Fitted a genuine Nissan snorkel, some bar work and a lick of paint

I may have lost the argument but I won the war.
