Did you get the oil light issue sorted?

    Cheers mate..

Yeah, the aftermarket switch wasn't reading right.

I ended up cleaning my old one as I knew it wasn't leaking, it was oil from the leaking rocker gasket that was dripping onto it.

A bit more progress this weekend.

Brought some insulation and made my own shades. Neeed to take out the fridge and cage to do the L/R side. Bit average on the inside, but they work. Simple velcro around the edges for easy removal. Going to do the same for the rear passenger doors.

Tried out the water tank with a gravity fed hose and tap, I'm going to put a pump in. The design of the tank which allows for a hump separates the water on each side, that's why there's two outlets. Once one side gets down you use the other side. What I'm going to do is run both outlets into a y fitting and then that one will run into the pump.

I did have the sub tank light on the dash come on. I've never had that before. I disconnected the battery for a few hours. Put it lback on and the light disappeared. Do I need to run another earth strap for the sub tank if so, where.

    Next is the rear bar.

I was planning on the uneek one, but they are no longer making it for my GU. I can go raslarr to suit the rest of the bar work, but there's a chance that it won't be ready by the trip.

    What else would you recommend.

I was disappointed too John Brother that Uneek stopped their manufacturing of our GU rear bars, the ultimate touring rear bars IMHO 🥲
In all honesty, if you’re stressing about our Simpson crossing, please stop, I can uterize fit on the back, extra mogas jerry cans for us all
