Got flat spots on the Commodore after sitting for awhile, a drive smoothed them out, don't know if I'll get the same result with the bigger tyres.. stands might be the way to go..

Trols parked in the sun, will the 110w panel be enough to trickle the batteries, it runs a dual sensing isolator..

That will work. I used a 10W panel for a long time, which even worked, until I finally bought a decent charger.

Something that I've been wanting to do for a while was replace the carpet.
Well that day has arrived. While I'm at it I'm cleaning up the mess under the dash and rewiring everything from the aux battery.
It was all running under the carpet and up the dash behind the radio, then when I installed the roof console being lazy I put connecters and extended the wires under the dash and up the A pillar to the roof console.
Now it's all going from the aux battery to the centre pillar and to the roof console.

Patrol God
There are insulated posts you can bolt on as well as bus bar types. Either gets the mess away from the battery post.

Looking good John,
The remote Pos+ post Newby mentions are a bit of a winner.
Consider a subfuse block to distribute the load rather than just a bulk number of supplies. A Narva style fuse block for the win.
Assuming your using the narrative block inside the car then a single 50amp wire running off a Midi Fuse at the Battery would be ideal.
Also note, Jaycar sell a 15amp rated 7 core trailer wire which could also be handy for colour coded sheathed wire up the A Pillar. Anything that needs bigger just switch through a relay anyway so the switching circuit in the 7 core switching the relay for the win.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Something like this inside the car and just a single supply off the battery fused at the terminal to the positive post on the box then fused again with appropriate size fuses to each load.

I've ready have 10amp trailer wire running from the rear to the centre console to power up a couple of USB sockets. I'm using the rest for the roof console..
