All done under the bonnet. Better than what it was, but still haven't decided on which block to use, all wires are rather under the dash or up to the roof console ready to be connected ordered a couple of things for the inside..

    Last pic was before.

This has been pushed back due to others things, but I managed to get some patrol time in today.

I've only just discovered that my rocker switches are 4 pin and the new one that I brought for the radio is a 5 pin. I'm missing pin 6 which is lower dash light positive.

What do I use on the 4 pin switches to power up the lower light?

    Cheers in advance..

    Motivation day.

Finished off the wiring, mounted all the switches on a proper housing and the UHF in the roof console. Have the carpet in for a trial fit. Will get some foam from work to use as underlay.

Getting close now. Next will be to replace the springs to get rid of the horrible lean it has and some heavy duty sway bars as I keep breaking the front one.

Will need a new second hand steering wheel and a radio surround that doesn't have extra holes in it, then it's time of a Roady and club reg..

    We're getting there..

    That carpet is looking nice.
The only thing I would change is to move the USB charger from the overhead to the lower dash. Otherwise you will have charging cables hanging from the roof all the time.

I reckon the USB is a good idea. I have a one up top close to the screen so I can have a dash-cam up behind the mirror without dangling leads.

I've had a USB charger there for a while, I keep the cable plugged in but only have the end poking out from inbetween the roof lining and the console. Hasn't bothered me.

True fit Auto they're on eBay.
Couldn't find anything to wire up the 4 pin, so for now I've ran a positive to behind the switches till I get new 5 pin ones.

    Nearly there.

Had my son do the windscreen last weekend and between then and today I've just about finished the inside. Need to clean some more of the plastics, reinstall the fridge and fit all the plastic covers for the seats legs.

If anyone is going to replace their carpet I strongly recommend that you buy one with all the holes cut out, saves a lot of time and a bit of guess work.

    Still to do.

    Replace springs
New sway bars and links (will extended links pass a rwc?)
    Steering wheel or cover.
Is it that hard to find a radio surround that hasn't been cut up with extra holes? Yes..

Don't think I will need anything else for a rwc, but we'll see..
