I run with Runva EWX12000 with rope. I have only run it a couple of times and am impressed. It's not the fastest but I was pulling the Trol out of a mud pit for about 15 mins of almost non stop winching and it barely got warm. Others on this trip were also impressed at the job it did and not even hot to touch. image-1422130194.jpg Yes I know it has cable, but it is rope now. I I was looking for a winch for the front of my GUIV I'd fit that Runva in a heart beat. My number one choice in this price bracket. Or spend the large on a Warn XP9.5 but they are $2,400.

Don't have an actual pic on the car but this is what I have. Used it once to pull a decent log out of the way, thats about it. Haven't had the car hanging off it yet. Attachment 45401
Something like this wouldn't be all bad. It's not the one I was looking for but its 4 motor high mount. The one I was looking for is basically 2 twin motored high mounts joined end to end with a custom 600mm drum it was a monster.
