Certainly easier 2 clean Matt but if you get lax with the treatments they quickly turn 2 sh!t. I also found with baby seats the belt that goes from the seat down to the anchor point kills the leather seat. As wa said Kids destroy cars!

You can get neoprene sheaths to go over it to help protect them but treating it to put back the oils that keep it soft is a must

Your tray back is fine, just cut a rear door for the cab and use tie downs for the baby capsule...
