Not really hunting but at Melbourne gun club in yerring for a bit of a look-see. Got a a mate doing the 5 stand today.

Just got mail today from Gun Emporium and they have some pretty good sale prices including a Howa Varmint fluted barrel in 223 for $549... bloody cheap, it is a heavy barrel.
If I was getting my licence and wanted a 223 varmint I would get a mate to buy it then transfer it later into my name.
I wonder if they would do the Sporter for that price?

No pigs but an abundance of rabbits and fox. In fact my area is plagued with them.
Deer also literally walk past my front door, 10m away.
