There is a steel gong at 500m in this pic, I took 3 shots at it and hit it twice which I think is not bad for a low experience shooter.

HAHA I know this gong well.

I was surprised last time i went (WAY to long ago) that the 243 shot flatter than the 3006. 243 were handloads and 3006 were factory but accurate enough.

That gong I played with for a little bit but managed to hit it with the 22 8 out of 10 shots. Point of aim in the scope was a boulder half way up that hill haha. Gong wasn't even close to being in view. Its always good getting out to the range.

I have a pretty good handload developed for the 223 atm which is why I just made 250 of em haha but can always hone then in a little bit. 243 I need to spend some time on. There was a time a while ago i could head shoot anything with that out to 300mtrs. But hasn't been accurate enough for a while now. The projectiles I had were unavailable for a long time so I went a different brand and just haven't spent the time on them yet.

I started reloads for the 3006 too but again just lost track of that so don't even know what the reloads are i have. will have to pull them apart and start again.
