The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

This hole did a fair bit of damage to Jims car and Irish nearly broke his neck pulling him out.
6 weeks later Jim was on a hill stopped and he opened his rear door and water came pouring out..... Both Irish and myself asked didn't you dry your car out properly????
Just thought I would post up the pic as I was going through photo's looking for something.
It takes a special kind of tard dosn't it.......

I'm happy to announce that I'm going to try my hardest to avoid these stupid gritty dam water holes!!!!
The money I have spent on fixing my car is ridiculous and a lot of it comes down to gritty water holes like this one.
Radiator, alternator, a/c, interior, contamination in diffs, tranny, gbox, etc...
After the muppets from qld showed me slow crawling its so much more challenging and enjoyable!!!
However, it's bloody hard to not go through muddy ass climbs and holes down here when you see them on your travels in Victoria....lol...so much fun but just costs money!!!

Yes....yes I have it...lol
Nah I really got looked after mate, the list was 2 pages long!
Can I borrow some cash?
Although I did some damage up red east track it could of been avoided with (A) slightly less gusto...it was dark, not checked the climb beforehand and had to wing it which caused more acceleration on those ledges because you slightly panic and do not want to get stuck and (B) standard Nissan components that do not cope with that kind of beating.
But....slowly get better components and happy days!!!

So would you say I was a lot slower climbing that hill than you.... because both you and Rossco sounded like the dogs of war going up that hill and Kev and I were scared little children listening to your rigs howling !!!
