    Rd28 eti advance plate

I have just replaced my advance plate due to the hot start issue but discovered that the one I pulled off is same as the replacement. Apparently it has been done already so why have I still got problems starting while hot?
    Anyone got some ideas?
Thankfully it only cost $26.90 from my local nissan dealer...

Well after a few days driving it still seems to be same as...! The only sure fire way to guarantee a hot start is to clutch start or leave the bonnet up when I stop so the heat escapes and doesn't get the pump hot. I keep hearing from my mates that it must have an air leak in the fuel line but it starts easily when cold in the mornings!
I'm not real keen on dropping $1600 on a reco pump after having spent $2500 on the head...
Anyone who has experience with this?

Just so you dont feel so alone.. heres a reply! Regarding your problem I really have no idea but hows your cooling system.. I burped mine for an hour or so and that got a tonne of trapped air bubbles out and no more overheating. . Probably way off base but I reckon someone here will have the answer for ya
