EGR Block & DIY Questions
G'day guys,
I'm just after some answer if anyone could help..
1. Can I block EGR off in my Z30 Patrol & D40 STX Navara without installing a Dawes Valve or will this cause cause damage to my motor's?
2. How do I Remove and clean the manifold intake on the Navara?
3. Can I wind/turn up my my patrol turbo without a boost gauge?
4. I recently installed 2" suspension lift I the patrol now the steering feels really light and it seems to walk sideways a lot. Any idea why?
5. Where is the best place to buy my parts and mods from.
Thanks guys for any help you can provide. I will be uploading pictures of both my rigs soon

ok the nav is ok to block straight away the patrol is it a commonrail but whether it is or not I would suggest getting boost and pyro gauges and say a pillar pod to mount them. pm mudski for some plates I believe he sells them

Just search egr block or NADS system in the search bar mate. There are plenty of threads with pictures and instructions for it

1 For the Patrol, yes, but I wouldn't. Blocking the EGR with no dawes will make your boost do even more funky things. The Nav, yes.
2 Google would be your friend on this I reckon. Or just start pulling it apart and take plenty of photos while your at it for reference when putting it all back together...
3 No...
4 You will need an adjustable drag link to set the wheel straight and your castor maybe off just a little. Usually above two inch you need to install adjustable panhard rods and drop boxes to correct the castor but let it settle for a bit first. See how it goes...
5 I sell the NAD's parts, many OEM parts too now. But depending on what you want really there is tonnes of places to shop...
Cheers. Mark.
