Can and alcohol stove
Never actually seen this before but could be handy for someone?
Maybe in the snow or hiking or no wood around for a fire, etc to cook...

Been around for years, some good tutorials for this and similar versions of it on indestructibles.
Used to make heximine stoves out of our old cheddar cheese tins from the ration packs whenever we smashed our normal hexi stoves, right size for cooking tinned meals and heating your water for a brew and are smaller and fit anywhere

The one in the original post is easier and better. The one in the link in this post really need a pot stand or the like, other wise the flame may go out.

Yes, fuel choice will be best decided by heat output and cleanliness of burning. Isopropyl alcohol is a good choice. If metho is available it too will work fine.
