The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    So another job underway.

I found the receipt in the box. 2015.....

    125mm flexiflares. Bring it.

    6m i cut into 4 x 1.5m lengths.

I bought some black 10g tek screws and some 12g teks too. I have down flares a few times ans used teks, nut and bolt, washers. Tek screws for the win. Made for this.

10g for the bulk work and the 12g for the anchors. Also 12g into the scrubbys.

    Perfect width!! STOKED!!

I need to finish fit the front bar before i can do the fronts but stoked with the finish.

    Little more done today.

Fitted the XR seat to the drivers side using Hurricane adapters. Unfortunately i found the seat mounts had some stress fractures and also the previous guy had ground down the front pins so i had to drill them out of both seats ans replace with bolts. They were hardened and took some bloody drilling.

Drivers seat in. Passenher seat ready to bolt in but i have more work to the centre console first.

Drilled another penetration through the roof for the side lights and finished that loom. Pretty happy with it.

Some more done today. All the little stuff now. Closer by the day!!!

Fitted the rear LED side lights and ran all the wiring.

Wired up to a switch i the centre console. Fitted the Anderson Plug from the roof to the B Pillar.

    Installed the Centre Console.

Refitted the door window trims and fitted 1 mirror. The drivers mirror mount has fallen into the door damn it so i have to strip the drivers door inside trim to get to it damn it.

Mounted the UHF Aerial to the snork.

Getting close now. Charged the 24v batteries to 100%

I have installed a bilge pump under both front seats. Hoses run up the inside of the B Pillar and pump out of the B Pillar just above glass height.
