A bit over a year Winnie. Nothing broken but needed to get some more bar work on it to try and keep the panels straight.
It's all done and ready to go, now just waiting for Darren.

Darren, you are very clever dude, hats off to ya! Well beyond my skillset and certainly beyond my fear of F***UP threshold. Need to get a 240V mig tho as even with my super arc welder, this thin stuff is beyond me.

Nah I have one of those short rubber aerials from Super Cheap. I would not run anything else. It takes a beating in the bush. Yeah I scored another passenger front quarter off a guy without the snorkel hole. I am going to repaint the car in the next few weeks as all quarter panels are damaged and have been repaired. Need a paint.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

So while I'm.busy head down PPE on with safety glasses and ear plugs and hat grinding away at my bonnet today I heard a noise and looked around to see.my mad wife running at me with the garden hose she had been using to full the fish tank. I stopped grinding and said what are you bloody doing?? She just pointed as she ran passed me!!!!.
So as it goes, I'd been grinding away. Thought I smelt someone light up a tobacco pipe which was weird!!
Nup!! I lit the bloody backyard behind me!! Fortunately the grass is short and sparse.
Damn!! It had travelled across the front of the shed and was burning low between the shed and the GQ!!!
WTF!!
Crazy stuff. It was not that hot today. I certainly kept an eye on things for the rest of the day!!
