Thanks guys.
check these pics out of the GU. He was running bead locked 37s on a 190RWKW TD42 (Sick Car) and broke the stub axle. Sheered it off and jambed the hub. We had to let him down.
[
Then driving out of the track from the other side spat it out
Cant believe he did not do a C.V. Unbelievable to sheer a Nissan Stub axle....

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

This is the exact same spot that the GU IV Broke and the 80 on 37s could not get up it either.
Once loaded the HiMount self destructed and spat a pin then all the bearings in its braking case. We lowered him back down by hand too.
He ended up having to drag the GU IV back out the other way.

This is looking up the hill from where the above damage was done. The Hilux was the first car up and had to winch several times from where this pic is to where his is now and then he drove the rest of the way.
You can get a feel for how steep this is looking at the girl trying to step up and how close the guy with the beanie is and how much higher he is than the others, he could reach then for a hand up.
This is a pic at the bottom and the bend that we are coming around at the start of the vid
What a great day, Great Crew, Great Hill.
