Well swapping the Simexes for the 35" Cooper St's and heading up into the High Country North of Mt Bulla this weekend for a boys swag trip. Taking my 5 year old son Zach and we will have a great time.
Zach already gets excited by "Just the guys, No Girls" trip... Hell Yeah!!! I got a double swag for a subscription to 4wd monthly and he reckons its great.
Might pack the RC Rock Crawlers that Santa gave us and have a good weekend.
I will try and get some good pics for ya.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Hey MR,
Just finished reading this thread. Wow we are ok in sand but mud really scares me, especially alone. I think you guys are heros taking on all that mud.
Regards your strip and repair and other work, Huge amount of work well done, good to see you stuck at it, and documented it, and put it up for us to read.
Maybe you should really be called SMR SuperMudRunner
I jus dunno where you find all the time!!! lol
Thanks again, an absolutely great read.
