Here is a pic of my 24v batteries in the rear footwell. Have not done the final wire in yet but I made the tray and mount and stoked with how it's fitted in the space

Just put the short guy on that side!! Or if you only want 1 battery there just fit it behind the centre console in a battery box. Your mates can work around it easy.
