    Chriso's photo's, 4x4 and other stuff.

    Hey all,

Been a frustrated point and shooter for a long time, always hoping to make the jump to a DSLR.
Well I finally have, so just wanted to show you guy's some of my favourite picks over the years and any new ones as I go forward on my new journey.

What better way to start than with the mighty Patrol and other picks i've taken from various off-road trips.

    Hope you enjoy.

    Cheers,

This was one I took at my brothers wedding a few weeks ago. Unfortunately was a wet day, but got this shot.

They are awesome action shots! How do you get the hills to look steep?

    Thanks guys,

I think the trick with getting a off-road shot in perspective is to avoid looking directly up or down the hill.
Try to stand a little to the side and at a level where the car will be in frame while the camera is level both side to side and up/down. That way things like trees, other cars, people etc in the background will assist to give the correct perception of the terrain.

    Cheers

    Cheers mate,

After a lot of research I ended up with a Nikon D5200 which I then upgraded to a 18-105, F3.5-5.6 lense.
Been very happy with the combo so far.

Still have a lot to learn but here are a couple of my project shots so far.
