Mine says 265 x 70R16 but I run 285 x 75R16 as this size makes my speedo at 100kph run on the GPS 100.02kph, when I put this on the exploreoz forum years ago a member there by the name of truckster(who's abit of a expert on patrols) inform me that 285 x 75 is what the patrols run in Europe and that's why my speedo is spot on. To import the patrols into OZ they have to put the smaller size on .Must have been some stupid decision a pencil pusher made on a low work load day when he was having a brain pause I reckon

Beginner
My tire placard also says 265/70/16, but I'm running 285/75/16 and there's no real issues turning them, just a bit of a slug 80-100

My 09 Do reads 235/80/16 but has 265/70/17. The rims are standard and speedo matches gps, can't see that lasting for too long
