The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

That's pretty nasty bud, anything can be fixed, but looking at the pics, id be talking to some panel shops at first, even if its just to get a idea on if they/you, have to cut and remove, or you can push/pull and repair.
All this also depends on what the car is worth, and how "fixed" you need it ?

I’m undecided if I’ll try it myself but i more than likely will as you don’t really see that part of the car with sliders on so i don’t think it needs to be 100%.
Here is a link to another thread using pop rivets but it just depends how extensive your damage is.

From what i can see your whole sill is bent out of shape rather than just the outer skin. If you can straighten it out then go for it. The damage to the top of the sill suggests its far worst than a normal Sill crunch mate. Your call though, a bit of stuffing around and you will sort it out though but having a new section cut and installed would be a winner too as suggested by the Panel Beater earlier in the thread.
