Towing with a Y62

Last trip 900k's with a moderate tail wind actually got 19k/100 from bowser figures, and appears to get 21/100 with no wind and the usual 23/100 against a wind. Not alot of difference to the V8 LC's. I found manual 5th for most of the 90-100kph towing is best with a tap down to 4th when the car drops to 80kph going uphills. However I slip it across to auto on longer downhill runs, and then back to manual when it evens out. cheers!!
