Its not the temp gauge sensor its the one that tells the car you have reached a certain temp then tells the car to idle down...or something like that??

I seem to have found the issue.
I pulled the TPS off last night and drowned it with crc and now it seen to have all its power back and no flat spots.
Thanks to everyone for all the great ideas.

Tps are common to stuff up.. I have 3 here that are all stuffed in different ways.... whether this is your issue time will tell?
Lets hope you have found the problem as this stuff just drives ya nuts!!!!!!

Ok.. looks like its back to the drink..... The new TPS is in and made no diff.
