Ring 03 5382 5477 and ask Allan, he n is just up the road from you and may be able to assist you. Injectors are his thing. He does pumps from all over the country.

    Cheers for the suggestions guys,

I have a reco TD42T pump arriving today, I got lucky and found someone that was willing to take the TD42Ti & ZD30DDTI pumps as cores, and gave me a great price as my work has an account with them.

I will post a full conversion thread once its all in there & running.

Just an update: TD42T pump was installed without any dramas, on advice from the supplier was timed to .74 @ TDC. my 3" Stainless exhaust arrived also.

Engine had a dry fit yesterday, and I tack welded the new chassis brackets in.

Mobile welder came past today and welded the brackets in for me. I also fitted up the rear section of exhaust, which fit like a glove. Clutch went on and engine went in (massive PITA to line up clutch/trans/engine).

    Jobs for tomorrow are to;
    • Bolt on starter
    • Fit up dump pipe and rest of exhaust
    • engine mounts
    • new clutch slave & bleed system
    • fit alternator
    • belts hoses and filters
    • refit airbox
    • fit/plumb intercooler
    • connect power steering
    • fit radiator & heater hoses
    • source accelerator cable

Monday evening should be a few wires vac & fuel lines to set up (I'm hoping i can get the idle up working for A/C & heat switch)

The once she is running, it's off to the A/C guys to get some hoses made & regassed

So, not much to go, my thoughts are that by Tuesday night she will be running & drivable.

Needed to print off wiring diagrams, rather than bastardize the ones in my workshop manual.

Work cut progress short today & yesterday, although I am inching closer and closer, tomorrow is going to be time to wire up, and give it a run (hopefully)... the rad hoses I had ordered from work were incorrect, so will have to get that rectified.
