    Mostly as a daily, with the odd adventure; doesn't see much hwy k's.

    I was averaging 23lt /100 with LS3 and big cam in GU wagon 5sp manual. I am now in the process of changing it over to a supercharged LS3 crate engine and am hoping for much better fuel economy as I feel the cam was the real issue.

    The whine of a supercharger trumps the whistle of a turbo any day...

    Turbo nice but I'll rather be blown.

    Having said that a lot of the 1000 hp + engines are twin Turbo.

    Meh! Boost straight off the pedal. Cant do that with a turbo. I shoulda blown the td....lol that would be different

    You need boost straight off the pedal to spin the supercharger. You would have wasted your time supercharging the td.

    Turbo tech has come along way in the last 10 years. Turbos only require exhaust gas to work not engine power like a supercharger.

    The problem with turbos even on something like a td42 is people struggle to size them appropriately.

    The obvious answer here mudski, is to supercharge your engine as well.
