rear vt,vx,vy seats in gq patrol?

    Hi Guys,

I managed to get myself some mint condition VX berlina seats for my GQ.

    $100 for full trim.

Its now got me wondering, can I fit the rear seats???

Ill be installing hopefully tomorrow night (will def post pics and my "how to")

Anybody done the rear seat conversion? or know of someone who has??

    Cheers party people

    Azamorey.

Wow have not heard of anyone attempting that. Take a heap of pics mate and document the measurements and will be great to see if it goes in

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Put driver seat in last night, sits on a slight angle and hits the pillar. Did not take pics as my phone died (funnily enough thats why i became motivated, no facebook.lol)

I will take some happy snaps today of the seat and will def take some pics of putting passenger seats in. shouldnt be much diff to the front.

On a side note, i may swap the drivers and passenger seat around to try and compensate for the lean and offset.

    Stay cool.

I can't imagine the rear seats fitting? Well they may fit but you would not be able to seat adults in the back. Good for small kids but those seats are way higher than patrol seats and there is already very little seating room in the patrol!

Good tip for anyone doing this conversion, use the passenger seat for the drivers seat an vice versa. You will need to make up a spacer plate or what I'm going to do is 4 spacers in between the factory spacer just under the rail.

If any ones got any questions don't be shy to ask. This job will take you about 4 hours to do if you take your time and have the right tools
