    Goolwa Beach

G,day, Drove to Murray Mouth on Mundy long w,end along Goolwa beach.
Sand was compacted & harder than I remember, been cpl years.
    Done easy @ 38psi with KM2,s.
Is this usual 4 late summer?
    Mostly drive Lower SE.
Or maybe my ability & expectations have raised??
Feedback on different seasons & areas appreciated.

    Cheers Daz

Yeah wow! Depends on the height of the tides I'd say. I have never been up that high but keen to do it at Christmas time. The beaches around Robe and Beachport though see me at 15psi. 38psi would just never cross my mind.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

I have always found Goolwa Beach easy driving and can be like a highway at times, very different to the SE.

got down there a couple of months ago never even locked the hubs and 38psi the whole way it gets a fair bit of traffic over summer being so close to Adelaide. but i have also driven it after a bit tide and its been covered in washouts and holes as with any beach its always changing but iv never found it to be very similar to the SE that place is SOFFTTT. just gotta watch out couple of weeks ago some kids stole a carpenters ute and rolled it on the beach spreading nails and screws everywhere.....
