    TD42T 3" system upgrade options !!

The back ground is my new-ish 2002 GU wagon has a dump pipe back 3" system.
But a standard dump me thinks looking at it as still has OEM heat shield attached to it.
And a slight leak on muffler output so a new system altogether is on the cards.

Looking for info to chew over , which exhaust system and configuration to install.
And if ya can clue us up on what new system works with std turbo and a possible upgrade eg-say a GT2860 for instance.
Or others models turbos, what ever goes with this or that is what I want to know about please.

Now was considering a new 3" dump, but cast or steel? as both available.
and then there's ceramic coated steel or cast also. humm.

The twist is there also seems to be engine pipe available that does away with the dump altogether, what's the best set up for engine pipe area please??.

    And also what about this,http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/171235414...84.m1423.l2649
See on ebay Xforce mild steel and stainless available.
Some feed back on xforce please. think they do away with dump and use the longer engine pipe instead.
    think that covers it.
    Whats the go people's.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Yep good price for stainless,
but what about strength on hangers etc ?.

I'll ring Scott's thanks, after I hear from the online experts.

I'm asking these questions as I've been dealt a blow,
plain ripped off, inferior product and performance by an exhaust shop in the past.
and want my fellow patrolathons input first.

At that price it would be cheap stainless.
And really unless your gunna show it Off stainless ain't really needed for a diesel.

heard nothing but great feedback from Scotts Rods. Regardless of their support here the forum approached them due to their good name to become a sponsor here rather than just taking anyone that was knocking.

No hesitation to approach Scotts for a members price. tell them you are from here.

I was originally put on to them when I upgraded mine. Long before they were on here and can't fault it for the price delivered was even cheaper then local.

I ended up approaching them for sponsorship so the opinions are not biased at at all mate.

Mine sits high up, the mounts were perfect line up and strong.

    All good thanks people.
    looked into various sponsors.

What about the question of ceramic coating?
Ceramic coated cast , v's ceramic coated steel pipe?.
Or dump v's longer engine pipe that incorporates the dump ?.
