Just a quick question for those in the know, is it possible to cross the jardine river cape York or should we just head straight to the ferry, We are going in august.

Last I heard the council had pushed a bund up to block that little back track. Suggest your ring the Bamaga Coppers, or the Archer River Roadhouse though. Weipa cops would know as well.

Was lucky enough to drive it in "83 100mtrs and about thigh height at its deepest, even walked it first Doh
One week later a local, Ahhh memories was taken by a croc at the ferry.
Slept on the bank that night and got pee'd on all night by Bats lol
