    Jaycar 600 Lumen LED Lantern

    Hi Guys,

Was going to buy a nova max 300 lantern but was in jaycar yesterday and i noticed they have one of the shelf that looks like a knock off though its 600 lumens not 300 and takes 6 D cell batteries instead of 3. These are apparently brand new in stock and are in todays catalog

Any way I thought I'd give it a try for $35 bucks and I must admit its an awesome lantern. Too bright to look at directly almost
If any one is in the market for a camping lantern I'd highly recommend this one

I'd be interested if you do and tell me your thoughts vs the nova. Would be interested in how bright you think each is

I also have the 400 Nova and that is quite bright also, beats the Coleman lights. I usually hang mine upside down from a gazebo when away and it produces plenty of good light.
