Take off your Engine cover!
So I was loosing boost a little while Ago in my zd30,and found that the engine cover had worn holes all along the fins on my factory intercooler. I highly recommend taking off the cover so that this doesn't happen!!!

read somewhere you put washers under it to space it up, for what reason I don't know.
I did power file mine so the catch can hoses didn't foul on the cover
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

Mine had to be spaced up a bit due to the boost adapter on the intercooler. As soon as my new IC arrives the cover is coming off. Not really sure what the purpose of the cover is anyway.

I think so the air from the scoop is concentrated over the IC area,
saying that I don't know how the EGTs would go with the cover off

Makes one winner if taking it off would jeopardize the EGTs then.

Would the rubber gasket on the scoop still seal on to the intercooler with out the cover?
