    Tyre Feddback - Achilles XMT

I have decided to give these Achilles a crack to see how they fair I do about 70-80% bituman and the rest sand, mud, clay and rocks. I have just switched from BFG A/T 33x12.5x15 to the same in the XMT so far i can tell you they are noisier because of being a muddy but also quite grippy on the road. I havent aired them down and taken them offroad yet hopefully next sunday if i get clearance from the wife.

Really good side biters and thick chunky tread pattern and i got the mfor a good price around $250-270 a tyre so if they last 40-50k i will be happy.

i am running these on on TB42 gq lwb wagon with a front auto locker so my wear and tear may be different to others running no locker or air/E-lockers

    pics up shortly

    Cheers Shane

I know my rims are a bit ratty and need a new paint job but for me they spend more time dirty than clean and if they do the job I am not changing them unless someone gives me new ones or I win lotto. Hahaa

Took them out to the beach yesterday and they were surprisingly grippy in the sand highway pressures and all the sand it self was a bit soft and hungry. Fry can attest to that he got stuck and had to drop down to 25 psi to get out. All in all very impressed with them so far and about to head out to do some bush work this week end so will let you know more next week

Hi mate, just wanted to know how these tyres went in the bush. I need to buy new tires soon and was looking around.
