Legendary
Definately solid. XLR8 makes them strong. I think the car will fall apart before the sliders get damaged

If you have a, or access to a welder, make your own! I did and made a solid slider but stuck it out a bit further to use as a side step aswell. also helps keep your car off the rock/ bank/ stump etc. 50 mm internal diameter 3mm wall.

I wouldn't trust my welding enough for how strong I want it and don't have a pipe bender.

But I think you need to remove the lower back gaurd which I am not that keen on.
I think the plastic bit you are referring to has Long been ripped off, I'm not sure why nissan put them on in the first place lol

I only tacked mine and got someone who can weld to do it properly! I also bought bends as the pipe bender wouldn't get them tight enough for me. Just did exactly the same with my rear bar.

I dont know of any real sliders that come with brush bars but bolsys does general fab as well so i guess he could make some up??
I can grab a couple picks of them if you like

I put the grip tape on, it's awesome for getting in the car when the sliders are wet, cause they are slippery as all hell, but it's a pain in the arrrs when getting out. If you slide out and graze your leg on it, it will make you bleed. You do get used to it tho.
