Smile Recommendations - Tires and Suspension.

Hi there. I am in Melbourne Eastern Suburbs, Ferntree Gully Area, and I am wondering an any one has an recommendations for somewhere to get options on suspension, and tires. I do have a bit of a vibration at around 100km and sometimes when braking, so I want to get that rectified. I recently purchased the beast and didn't feel either on my test drive. It does have cheapy tired on the front, and I will be replacing them eventually but thought that I should get it looked at my someone who really knows what they are doing.. before I spend money on tires.. So it is the tires then I am wanting some All Terrains I think. But if it is suspension or other components then that should get fixed first . Is that a fair call.

So where should I go and who should I talk to.. ?

    Thinks in advance.

The vibration cold be caused by a whole multitude of things, from incorrectly balance wheels to various bushes that maybe worn.
As far as what tyres, each of us have our own preferences so ask yourself what kind of offroading will you be doing..... Is it mostly road and beach/sand/gravel roads, mud/rocks. I've got a set of Mickey Thompson 4 rib ATZs which I think are a good all rounder, although as they are starting to wear down I've noticed the road noise more.

As far as lift goes..... Again we have our preferences.... Tough dog, one, efs, the list is long, so your better of explaining your requirements to a specialist who should be able to sort you right. But by right first time......... If that's at all possible.

Oh and if you use the search function, you find plenty of info on all 3 subjects.

Most would suggest OME suspension as their top choice but everyone has something different on their Patrol.
I've heard good and bad reviews about Toughdogs.
Can never go wrong with Koni's, Armadas, and many many others. Buy the best you can afford to suit your needs.
As for tyres I went with the BFG KM2's as my mud tyre.
A mate of mine (Stretch) bought Dick Cepek FC-II all terrain made by Mickey Thompson.
With the market so wide now, there are a magnitude of choices to make.
Moral. Buy the best you can afford.
Hopefully you problems are easy fixes to give you more money to play with. Good luck buddy.
