Spray day tomoz, I drove all the way to Supercrap Auto to get a colour match pressure pack but low and behold their system does not have my colour damn you BJ9K!!!

The chick said well would BJ5k do maybe, probably not mate that's probably yellow!

Interesting though their system does not list any Patrols as Patrol only Infiniti, even GQ's?

Anyways, heading to Bayswater at Sparrows to exact match and taking in the old doors...lol
id be all over that BJ5K mate, that could be Sooo Kool!! Like a Lottery ticket but different!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Ta da, fresh new panel ready to be scratched to bits again!

Will be interesting to see how it matches with a body that's 28 years old and 2 different doors from a different mother right beside this panel.

Must be the pic mate the coat was good.

I masked up to the stripe mate and straight up after that.

It's a little light compared to the foster doors but I just need a very tight track to scratch it all up again lol

    I'm a little bit peed...

I'm happy with my spray but holy crap the colour is completely different!

Too light for my body but way off the foster doors making the car look very mismatched to be honest.

How can I make this look somewhat unifiedish <--- new word that should be in the dictionary!!

Would a full cut and polish help?

Take it down a track of destruction to scratch up the entire LHS of the car of the new doors and panel spray or suck it up princess and wait until summer for a basic full outer spray of vehicle?

Or give Lachy a red bull and a bucket of stones for finger painting?

This will annoy me everyday I walk past it

It's my fault I guess getting the guy to try and match the petrol cap on the other side which was severely scratched up and looks like this colour!!!

Yes yes old Gq vehicle that gets punished but this contrast is too much for my OCD!

Cut the back off and put a tray and jack on / off canopy on it will fix most of your problems

Or just bring it here and leave it..... I would't care what the paint job looks like as long as the motor actually turns over
Time is never wasted when your wasted all the time

Matching metallic virtually impossible mate. I used to match autos but not metallic. Scratch the sh!t out of it and full respray coming up! Anyone who says they can match a metallic is full of it.

What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal??
