I kinda liked the no dump pipe possessed lawn mower sound though...lol, brought me back to my teenage days of my 351 short block Cleveland xf ute.

I took it down Yarra Glen passed the servo and pub and it definitely turned heads with wtf is that thing!!!

Haha, like when my TB was leaking from the end of the extractors and it sounded like a speedway car. Good times

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Booked into Patrolapart for service on Thursday.

Little bit pissed because I just ran all new coolant through and forgot to change my tired old radiator hoses so throwing money away!!!

I'll get a new EGT gauge on too which I'm looking forward to seeing how my temps are now!

Then off to Diesel Tec for a tune on the 10mm pump.

This will be an interesting comparison as Andy should have my previous results of ht18, ic on 4:1 with 33" tyres and now I'm on 4:6 with 35"s and the Borgwarner on same pump.

He should also have my pre IC results too. I'm sure it's on the forum here somewhere but I'm lazy!!!

Then another dyno on the 12mm pump with injectors.

    Excitement!

Finally got a new EGT gauge put on today.

Just got back from a short drive from Patrolapart but my temps seem to be a lot cooler with this turbo!

A hell of a lot to be honest!

Awesome. That could be the gauge too mate. Get them to check calibration on your gauge when it's dyno'd.

Note also you had the fuel wound up to suit to HT18 at full Noise, that is nowhere near the base line even of this new turbo so it will be running pretty cool, especially if your running the same boost. Glad it's coming together mate.

Just took Mark for a spin with the passenger window down for the first time.

The sucking sound is ridiculous from the snorkel intake right there. 100% unbearable even for the driver!
