So it begins!
Borgwarner 6758 and FATZ airbox upgrade.
Got a flange made up for the intake to airbox rather then the rubber fitting.
Really wanting 4" right into the turbo but the alternator bracket needs a bit of work.
I'm not sure even trimming the bracket will fit, almost need a smaller belt, bring the alternator further in and create more room.
Trying to find good pics on the net of this style airbox and 4" running to turbo but no joy.
It'll be close but I think it'll squeeze in!

I think i have only seen high mount turbos with that box. .
The only time i think i saw it on a low mount was when it was mounted sort of where the 2nd battery is.

Patrol God
Theres enough room. 4" elbow pointing back towards firewall then down to turbo. Plenty around with that box and low mount.

Had a bit of a victory today in prepping everything.
Moved brake canister over a bit, shortened hoses ,raised that little junction box for the canister lines, managed to move airbox another 10mm into the guard which will allow a smoother 4" elbow into the turbo over the alternator.
I can now fit the airbox and battery tray in perfect without cutting up the tray.
Will start stripping the old turbo and lines next weekend and source fittings!

I've pulled it all back out now to fit turbo but Yep it all fits perfect.
Saved 10mm on airbox, 15mm on canister and another 20mm on cutting the canister lines shorter so the bend is straight away.
Raised the junction box up by 20mm with spacers to avoid front of battery tray.
I was lucky to have a decent hole on the inner guard from the original 4" snorkel elbow so the flange we made up sits actually inside the guard now.
I might even put a slight spacer on the airbox to slightly angle it so the elbow will be further away from the alternator.

That's awesome news mate, I was slightly worried haha. Does that bracket that comes off the airbox use the two Nissan bolts that are existing?

No, you have to drill new holes.
I'll have to drill new holes to fit the tray and overflow bottle too.
You might get lucky with your tray mate.
