Being a TI it more then likely has amp/s, I think they are under the front seats.

Are you fitting a new head unit?

Yes the wire colours between the head unit and amp are different if amps are fitted.

Your new head unit will have a higher output then the amp.

I would just run new speaker wires from your head unit out to your speakers.

what head unit are you fitting snipe ?...I put a pioneer in and i got the plug and play loom that went direct into the factory wiring so you may be able to do the same and just save all the hassle (providing the original loom to the headset hasnt been prostituted.....yes as already said , the Ti have the amp under the drivers seat....also when you are changing head units over from the original double din ( if that is what you are doing )...there is a seperate wire you have to connect because of the amp otherwise you will get no sound....or as stated in another post , you will have to re-wire and forget the original loom

got a bit stuffed up here ...will put photos up in next post

as you can see...the head unit wiring and the adaptor loom are colour coded but they are different to the original loom....but they just plug in

    20131224_160235.jpg

as you can see..if you use an adaptor loom it is one of the free blue ones that needs to be connected ...just fold up the orange and othe blue one (they do nothing)....the blue one you connect has to be broken into the red active one ....this was all with a pioneer unit so not sure about the colour coding if you use one of these with a different head unit....but the single wire for the amp will still apply I think...cheers

    Bumping this thread.

I have the ti, with double din factory radio. pp-2114h. Looking to replace with an after market double din.

I can’t follow the second photo above, no idea which wires he is talking about. The TI has an extra plug, for the amp, not sure what is going on in the second of the photos. Surely the amp needs more than just power? The audio signal from the Factory radio must have gone down that third plug?
