You do indeed......... If you wouldn't mind Putting some pics up when you've completed the job & gave a bit of a run down on how you went about it for those who haven't done this before but would love to give it a go themselves that would be great.
Cheers mate & thanks for the post

Just put a Lokka in the front of the Patrol + 3" exhaust and 2" suspension.
However I have an intermittent dull knocking from the front when turning.
Happens about once a week or so. Very annoying.
Have read it could be the new springs moving.
Maybe pads under them could be the answer?
Thoughts anyone before I go back to the supplier?
Cheers
Damian

What sort of lokka did you put in? if it is an auto lokka (lock right or similar) i think that they will make a noise during turning and they will be "engage - disengage - engage - disengage" around the corner. your power steering will hide it to your steering wheel but could easily be the problem.
If it is then you have no problem and just something to get used to. Hope it is.
I would think if it is your springs not seating properly then they are more likely to make noise over a bump rather than around every corner.
Hope that helps and i dont throw you off.
cheers mate

Yep, like what mudRunner said. You could also try to turn the springs a bit. My mate had this problem and just by turning the springs a bit it stopped straight away.
Could be worth a shot if nothing else works.

Yes an auto locker (Lokka brand).
But when I had a play with that about 3 weeks ago I heard the clicking noise it makes - very faint.
I knew about that from reading about them in 4WD action Mag and the product spiel.
The noise when turning is louder and you wouldn't call it a click.
That is why I don't think it is the lokka.
Also haven't had it in 4wd / hubs engaged for the last 3 weeks either.
It is odd that it is so intermittent too.
Read about the spring pads on another forum, which is what got me thinking this is what it could be.
Probably wasn't a good idea getting the 3 mods done all at once, but seemed expedient to do it that way.
Maybe a trip back to the supplier might be needed.

I have a 2" lift in my GU and it makes a clanking sound, which is coming from the sway bars.
Did they adjust the lenght of the sway bar pins after the lift?
Just a thought !

Did you put this pod in yourself Rossco?
Wouldn't mind getting one of these for my tray but only covering the front half of the tray....Looks real neat and secure.
