Finally got the part number for the high output water pump from BD. Its an AC Delco 251603. It appears to be the same capacity as the original high output pump, but has a screw on fan assy instead of a bolt on. Its serpentine belt driven also.

Ordered the fluid damper this morning. Ended up going with Leroy Diesels instead of Summit. Summit made a meal of the enquiry and their arrogance lost them the sale. Could not get a delivery cost out of them, their auto check-out system contradicted the sales guys and then I had to resubmit a product enquiry after sending them a request to delete the original - NOPE, why should I have to do the work to fix your screw-up. Pack of monkeys.

One email to Leroy Diesel, invoice received, paid 5 minutes later, 15 minutes later had tracking number, now thats service.

These were waiting for me when I got home for R&R today, timing gear set and fluid damper. Heading over to the land of Yarra Glen on Monday to pick up my safely stored Supercharger kit from Mr @MB and @AB - thanks guys. Its real when the bits are in your hands - now just have to find the time to sort it out.SANY0080.JPGSANY0082.JPGSANY0080.JPGSANY0082.JPG

Getting real now, whole kit in my hands.SANY0083.JPGSANY0084.JPGSANY0085.JPGSANY0086.JPGSANY0088.JPG

The photo of the front of the engine is from the trial fit due to wider pulleys being installed

Guys, radiator was ordered with bungs for upper and lower temp sensors plus a redarc low coolant sensor. True to form, the Redarc bung was not added. Can you advise how far down from the top of the radiator it should sensibly sit - will have to get this welded in before I start.SANY0089.JPG

Dare I make the reckless statement that I have finished buying stuff for the s/c conversion???? Just pulled the trigger on a billet aluminium harmonic balancer pulley in 8 rib config from Leroy diesels. $250USD plus freight of $75USD. This will replace the unit I had supplied by BD which is a heavy steel and rubber unit - prone to delamination over time, and will reduce weight by 3kg approx.

    Nope, don't say it.
