help quick please - changing drive belts
hi,
I got a new set of belts and just started to change them. Power steering and alternator belts came off easy, but can't work out how to get the aircon belt off. There's a little tensioner between the crank pulley and aircon pulley, fixed in place with 2 bolts and one tensionig bolt on top. Loosened off the tensioner bolt, but can't move the pulley at all. Can get to one of the pulley bracket bolts, loosened it, no effect. Can't get to the other, it's behind the pulley.
Please help, I'm trying to complete this tonight before the hot weather comes at the weekend.
cheers

Smart like tractor
you need to loosen the tensioner pulley. that pulley is clamped to that bracket by the bolt in the centre of the pulley once you loosen that iand loosen the tensioner bolt it will be a piece of cake

excellent, thanks so much.
Unfortunately, the belt that the shop had sent me for the aircon was the wrong size!! How typical is that after taking the fan shroud off, the fan and all ther other belts to get to it and now put it all back together again. Grrrr!!!
