G,Day Macca here just bought a gq swb
Hi all
Ive come over to the dark side
or I am now walking in the light
I picked up my new to me (and my wife) GQ SWB today
it is just over 450K km young
needs a bit of panel work and rust inhibitor
has the td42 engine which has just had the rings, main bearings and injectors done on
it made the drive home . Bonus
now just a process of cleaning the crap off it and tidy it up
this is the pic from the ad the guy had
so anyway thats me i will probably ask some supid questions
like are there any drive train differences between a swb and a lwb (apart from tailshafts)
and when did the doors change to ones without the quarter window and are they interchangable
Cheers Macca

Welcome to the forum Macca.
Feel free to ask any questions you want, there are no stupid questions.
The doors are interchangeble and I think they changed in about 1992.
