Smile Gq 4.2 diesel intl mk l28

Hi guys my MK L28 petrol has done about 400km and engine is very noisy and what with the high fuel consumption. There is a guy here who has a GQ body with complete 4.2 diesel engine and auto box. The question is can this engine and gearbox and the transfer case fit into the MK? Would like to keep the MK body though.
