    1999 GU drain holes

Front drivers carpet is getting wet, have checked the sunroof drains and they are fine. There is no dampness above the level of the carpets.

I stripped the carpets out and found a small trickle of dampness on the inner bulkhead above the gas pedal.

Is it possible that a drain hole could be blocked under the front panel where the wipers are?

The trickle is not directly under any grommet/hole in the bulk head, so I think it may be dripping from the top. Any input, help, ideas, thoughts are micky taking greatly appreciated guys.

Thanks for reading my inane babble again................

That thought did cross my mind pal. Was hoping it would be something like a blocked drain hole or something one of you guys had experienced.

Spray a garden hose on your windscreen and see if you can see the leak on the A pillar.

My bet would be rubbers too. Mine leaks on side comes down the A pillar and onto the floor.

You might not see it if it hides behind the trim though.

    This is strange.

I stripped all the felt like sound proofing out from under the carpet, it was absolutely soaking wet, left it out as well. Stuck a heater under the carpet and dried it thoroughly on Saturday.

It has pee`d down, hard ,for two days solid, yet the carpet is still dry.

Self healing Patrol, another reason to like it..............

Edit to add................Andy, ours are bonded on with like a thick strong glue, no rubber seals around the screen. Will keep an eye on though.

    Thanks

Park the patrol ontop of a sprinkler. Might find your problem that way...
