    Well mate I am out of ideas. Maybe try a diesel mechanic or fuel injection specialist

    Hey Ferret, Did you get this sorted?. I had issues with my sd33t some time back. It would cut in and out a bit or cut out just after starting.

    Two things to check. Check that the Oil presure sender wiring is not shorting on metal parts down near the dip stick area. And check that the rubber boot that protects the oil pressure sender is not full of water.

    These two little issues were all that was wrong with mine.

    I don't know if you fixed it or not. But the fuel tank sounds like a blocked breather. I've seen tanks almost suck themselves in to the point of breaking the fuel sender from this issue.
    But the fluttering sounds like air in the fuel. A quick way is to get clear fuel line and run to and from your filter to the injector pump. And look for air bubbles with the engine running.
