fluttering problem...
Hey everyone need some help some ideas and some do's... not to long ago I was noticing abit off a flutter before take off even thru gears low reving to increase reving... I went away and had the car stop on me I so then bled the system and that for some reason got me home.. I now have replaced the fuel filter and re bled the system was running great again. As off last night this problem had started to occur again.. iv noticed when I take the fuel cap off itll have a big gasp for air .... any help or ideas would be great. ... thanks heaps again guys

A big gasp of air is odd, that indicates a low pressure in the tank, all of mine have always had high pressure in the tank so when you take the cap off the tank expels air.
I don't know if it would cause the fluttering issue, but maybe the return hose is blocked?
When you did the fuel filter, did you clean the banjo filter too or just the main filter?

Don't they have a mechanical lift pump off the side of the motor. Should be less than $50 been ages since I looked at that engine

Banjo fuel filter is this the filter at the back ontop off the tank if so I havent done it lol .... can somone put a pic off were the lift pump is confused

it should be a glass topped pump from memory on the drivers side halfway down the block toward the front of the vehicle

Wouldn’t there have to be a breather for the tank somewhere? I’d guess it may be blocked or partially blocked?

Im thinking maybe its the other way around it pushes air out sorry ..... I havent had luck hunting it down 93patrol struggling hard
