"Are compound bows legal in Australia?
apexhunting : Yes, 100%. Compound bows are legal in all states in Australia. However, if you are going hunting, you need to check if you need council or the land-owner's permission to hunt on their land before you go. Refer to Government websites for more info"

Yup, will need to check each states regs to confirm which is legal and which isn't, what permits etc if any are required

Not a bad looking bow for the price that's for sure, just make sure you test what eye is dominant as its not just a case of if your right handed get a right hand bow its your eyes that decides.

i just got one of these for my 14 year old son whose been wanting to use a bow now for awhile, seems to be ok and it will give him a start to see if he has the patience, i use a martin set at 60lb, chase pigs, goats & deer, love it and gives me another excuse to get out bush and teach these boys of mine some bushcraft instead of playing video games.

Wow more keen archers...... Yay well I hope to see some pics of every ones bow soon and what they are using as arrows, just remember if you are just learning and are tight on cash don't go to bumming a and buy some dowel as this stuff will explode in your face and it's not a nice feeling pulling dowel out of some ones arms and fingers...... I'm glad to see growler is still getting back into the scene again and three dogs happy to help out with any info I can, but I have some questions for you, what ya gonna shoot what poundage ya gonna use are you using sights or just bare bow. Will you be using a release aid, what type of arrows, have you got a target to shoot at, are you left or right eye dominate..... Just to start off with if you wanna know more let me know...... Also if you need any gear I have set up my own back yard shop and will be selling archery gear for a competitive price........
