if you want a 1800 long Alloy rack then that is a Bargain. bit short for me but a winner for some. I have the 2.1m long one identical and cant fault it.

Do you mean aluminum rust or what's the go? Are the brackets steel or something?

As for those ones TD is talking about wouldn't sealing the holes hold the water in and cause long term issues?
Better to turn it upside down, fill it with water and block the hole where it leaks, there fore stopping water getting in when right side up on the roof.
