Luckily I didn't go, my alternator decided today was the day it would die. Just made it into my missus olds driveway when she stopped dead. Merry Christmas to you to ya bastard of a car

At least they are easy to get off and pull apart.

I am getting a new internal regulator tomorrow hopefully for mine. But I agree this is not the time of the year to have to outlay that kind of dollars.
