yes you can but that wasn't the point I have 5watt head lamps aXL16 type just thought others would like to view a professional style light,
not for every one yes , and yes there are cheaper ones available, each to their own,

Do led lenser do a head light? , my head torch is a XML16 with focus 1600 lumens just about as good as a P7
but a 1/4 of the price
