Oil pressure sender
G'day
First changing out of oil filters on 06 TD42 what a crap job but to make matters worse in the process I have broken the connector to the oil pressure switch. As an interim measure can I continue with the oil change and drive the truck until I can get my hands on a new switch? When it rains it poors bloody hell.
Cheers Gary

Patrol God
Not sure if it would set off a dash light or an error,
If it starts with engine light off I would think OK
as you know there is plenty of oil
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there

Cheers mate
Managed to get an aftermarket switch well I think aftermarket made in Barcelona. Started truck up and oil light went out after about 3 seconds. Will take her for a spin 2 morrow. Being a bit anal will probably get a genuine one. Four hours to do an oil change. The front filter was a real shit to get undone had to use a cheater bar. The filter ended up looking like a pretzel when I finished. Made sure I just put the news ones on just turning them by hand.
Regards
